Oklahoma Outreach Sober School

Quick Facts

 

  • First sober high school in Oklahoma.  Started in Fall of 2006.

 

  • Located in Oklahoma City,  NW corner of 70th and N. Classen Blvd.

 

  • Maximum enrollment of 15 students. 

 

  • All students are in recovery and must have at least 30 days sobriety to enroll.

 

  • Students attend school daily from 9 am – 2:30 pm. 

 

  • Students take online curriculum classes with monitored progress and individualized assistance.

  • Most students earn 1 credit every 6 weeks.  Additional elective credit can be earned through participation in a variety of school and recovery activities.

  • Students earn an accredited high school diploma.

  • All students participate in daily prayer and meditation session with their peers.

  • Daily 12-Step based recovery group meetings
  • Regular counseling sessions and participation in aftercare program strongly encouraged.  A school counselor is also available.

  • $700 tuition per month covers cost of 2 classes per term, use of school provided laptop, and materials and fees associated with school activities.

 

Referral process:

 

1.   Have student/parent call Oklahoma Outreach Sober School to set up a tour -- 405.843.9100

2.   Complete enrollment package – include a letter of recommendation from counselor.

3.   Provide proof of chemical free drug test within 7 days of starting at school.
